After a successful performance at New York City’s infamous SOB’s the other night, the ball is continuing to roll for singer/rapper half-empty. “I feel like that show potentially set me up for others,” he told me.
Following his show, half dropped a new single titled “Azul.” Produced by San Andres, the track is upbeat with sparkly elements—a nice airy song to listen to when you’re feeling yourself and don’t feel like being bothered by anyone.
The young creative’s strong work ethic is admirable. He’s been steadily releasing singles—some with visuals—for several months now which all seem to make up a theme. I can’t seem to put my finger on what it is exactly, but his use of color is intriguing, to say the least. I’m hoping for more shows because I would love to see this song live. Peep the song below to find out if you agree.
