Emerging from Leimert Park, Los Angeles, G2, the newest member of 808 Mafia, has been recently building a name for himself. Last week, he returned with his newest single, “Worth It,” his first release of 2021. For the energetic record, he tapped his fellow 808 Mafia member, Pyrex Whippa, and also received a guest verse from Migos affiliate YRN Murk.

G2 can be recognized artistically by his high-pitched vocals and fiery bars. The contrast gives him a unique position on 808 Mafia's roster and in the West Coast music scene.

G2 is working to be an artist to watch in 2021. After starting off strong with “Worth It,” he's planning to keep his foot on the pedal with several more singles in the coming weeks.
