Freddie Gibbs has had one hell of a year, from his beef with DJ Akademiks to his new successful album Alfredo with The Alchemist. Freddie's latest music video is inspired by the 2019 movie Queen & Slim, which finds two respective partners getting into an altercation with a police offer before shooting him. In the latter of the movie, the two are on the run for quite some time before eventually being caught and killed. However, Freddie gets a fortunate ending in this short film.
The almost five-minute cut finds Freddie trading verses with Rick Ross, who helps him escape all while supplying an amazing feature. "We were bustin' at police before Queen & Slim, that's on FN / Let off fifty shots to the squad car and get in the wind," Gibbs raps. Not to mention that the track is named after the lovely Scottie Beam herself, one of today's most talented media personalities. Check out the video below.
