Don’t sleep on Boston, as three of the city’s best link together to create the street banger Henny Sippa. Those three, being Fabzabove, Donald Grunge, and Splash Got’em, each bring their own unique flavor to the track but team up to keep the energy at an all-time high. That energy is in full effect with clips of the crew performing their underground hit in some of their hometown venues. I’m offered a certain privilege talking about this particular release, being able to catch the song performed in full one night a few weeks back. The three artists have that reckless rockstar magnetism, with mosh pits and body parts flying at will.
The Xandros-assisted video finds the artists laying low in their whips, out in the streets, and the previously mentioned performance clips. The darkened video is the perfect setting, catching the trio in their natural seedy habitats – as well as a pretty iconic scene with Maka, the producer of the single, holding a very young puppy with a bottle of Hennessy. Boston is primed to pop in these coming years, as we’ve seen bits and pieces from previously Elevator-supported visuals from Pistola and Leano. Fabz, Donald, and Splash aren’t soon far behind, with “Henny Sippa” being a big moment of building their city-wide notoriety.
