Meek stays winning.

Not that anyone doubted the album would, but it was really just a waiting game to see how long it would take. Well, let us forever recognize March 13, 2019 as yet another milestone on the Championships run for Philly’s beloved son Meek Mill. We can all join in celebrating him as his arguable best piece of work is now RIAA certified Platinum.

He set the world on fire at the end of November with the album, featuring Drake, JAY-Z, Cardi B, Rick Ross, Future, Young Thug, Ella Mai, 21 Savage and more. He’s delivered powerful visuals for “Intro,” “Trauma,” and “Going Bad.” He was all over, telling his story and inspiring both the youth and fellow rappers to get their acts together as there’s a higher purpose. Now, alongside Hov, New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft and Philadelphia 76ers co-owner Michael Rubin he is leading a charge for reform in the prison system.

We’ve truly seen Meek grow up and dig himself out of some tough times. Every achievement of his feels like a win for the culture, and as hard as he is working to make serious change he’s still the same old Milly who loves to have a good time and flex. This is such a much deserved accomplishment for the “Dreams and Nightmares” artist, and I’m sure there’s only more to come. Especially having confirmed a collaborative effort with LA’s own Nipsey Hussle.

Celebrate with us with the “Going Bad” visual featuring former rival and reunited buddy, Drizzy.
