Hailing from Alexandria, Virginia, D$G Dae has shown his ability to change between flows and cadences since he stepped onto the scene. Pairing unique lyricism with his frequency to create a catchy hook has served him well over the years as he’s been able to seemingly reinvent himself on features and projects. On his latest track, he pleads with an ex-flame about a relationship that is everything but simple. It’s a story of meeting the perfect person, just at the wrong time. Both carry an obvious affection for each other but are either respecting the boundaries of the current relationships that they’re both in or have chosen career paths that make a relationship all but impossible.

As the summer pushes forward it is looking like D$G Dae is looking to continue to add the foundation that has been set over the years through feeding his fanbase. Often opting for quality releases over quantity ones. He adds another page to the book with “Broke My Heart and Went To Sleep”
