DJ Lucas has had a big year. Hailing from the small-town farm lands of Western Massachusetts, the rise of DJ Lucas and his crew, Dark World, has been a thing of organic beauty. Rallied behind common upbringings and similar mentalities, Dark World has been incubating it’s talent for years, and last year was featured in a short film for FADER . More recently, Lucas has been steadily growing his campaign out in Los Angeles, as well as completing a tour with No Jumper.

To build on his big year, DJ Lucas dropped off “Lucas’ Mansion III,” a 22-track album, with the bulk of the tracks being self-produced. Lucas’ Mansion III is an honest representation of DJ Lucas, with catchy hooks, light autotuned vocals, and plenty of of shoutouts to his hometown, the Celtics, Dunkin’ Donuts, and plenty of more New England staples. Lucas’s talents shine through on this album, especially in the various production credits and how well Lucas is able to create on all levels.
