It’s been a while since we’ve heard any new music from daydream Masi, but we’re more than happy to welcome the Ohio native back to our pages for the release of his blissful new track “answer key”. It’s a fairly minimalistic offering, as indicated by the “ruff” in the title, but we have a feeling it’s only a glimpse of what Masi has in the vault.

The song’s description gives us some background on the inspiration for the track: “i’ve been seeing two sides of things. one is harsh and carnivorous, but beauty can be found if i look hard enough. the other is easy-going and simple. Love exists in this one. it is the way of the righteous and i long to stay there, but i feel as though im often pulled away. maybe its my own fault and my own mind, or maybe im neglecting truth. only time will tell.”

It’s very human to be caught up in this dilemma, but hopefully “answer key” will help us all to keep the right perspective. Hear the new sounds below.
