Cousin Stizz has dropped his sophomore album & he’s nowhere near a slump with this one, “Trying to Find my Next Thrill”. This project is released under RCA who is on a hot streak this year with their drops. There are 14 solid tracks on this album, which consists with features from Smino, City Girls & Freddie Gibbs to name a few. The intro “Meds” is probably the perfect start to the project as it sets the tone with a very dramatic and epic beat. The production sticks out to me with heavy hitters such as Daytrip take it to 10, Lil Rich, & Tedd Boyd. The boston rapper shows the world that’s he’s also an artist who cares about his craft. With jazzy & soulful sounding tracks while he spits several melodic flows over.

This album is sonically one of the best I have heard in a while, the whole thing takes you on a thrill. Last time he dropped an a whole project was 2017 with “one Night Only”. I personally enjoyed this album even better than the last, my favorite thing to see with an artist is progression. Feels like a movie to me from start to finish. Nobody wants to see the artist stuck on the same sounds from years ago, makes things boring and repetitive. If this is your first time hearing about him, welcome to Stizzy’s world.
