If you're from Cleveland, you know the OG Chip Tha Ripper. And you probably also know he just dropped a brand new tape featuring, soley, Lex Luger produced beats. Now that's just throwing gas on the fire Chip. Bonfire won't win any awards, but that's not a surprise, or really a knock, considering how lame, bought-and-paid-for, so many awards have been in the last few years. Chip is fully aware of this, “Ya Don't eat no food in my car. You can ask your OG bout me lil boy I ain't no studio star” he delivers as the first bar on "No, YOU Keep cool", the second track on the project. Which, may be my favorite track on the project. With other lines like, “Betta not take no vaccine goofy ass nigga whats wrong with you”, it's neck and neck with the top track "Don't You See I'm On The Phone?" for me. Chip's comedic insight and dry humor are stuff standup comedians strive for. But this project isn't just a quick joke to skip after the second track. It holds up all the way to the end, coming full circle like a Chappelle special, with two hard hitting tracks at the very end "Acting Brand New" and "Doing Some Damage".
