Spike Lee’s highly anticipated film Chiraq is hitting theaters December 4th, and now you can see the trailer for the first time. The movie is an adaptation of the Greek tale “Lysistrata” by Aristophanes, where the women pledge to withhold “access or entrance” (wink wink) to force a change in the behaviour of their men. This modernized take on the story finds the women using their bodily rights to put an end to the gun violence. You’ll have to catch it in theaters to find out if it worked.
