Chattanooga native Swayyvo hits our pages again today in full form with his debut project, Trunk Therapy. Riddled with beautiful melodies and heavy-slapping drums, this is a project that really is the definition of soulful. From the first track you really get a sense of Swayyvo’s progression as he revamps an old favorite and flips the beat of his track “SET,” produced by J White. An added layer of himself on saxophone, as well as some beautifully dissonant keys from WILEY really ignite the track and add that extra flavor that brings it all together. . WILEY and J White find their names all over this project as their production provides a perfect canvas for Swayyvo to incorporate his own production tastes and instrumentation. Throw in his insane verses and melodic hooks and we’ve got a project filled to the brim with replay capability.
