DMV rapper Black Fortune has been turning heads lately, and his latest visual release for “McDeez” is certainly one of the more raucous tracks I have heard this week. Powered by an instrumental filled with ignorantly loud percussion and eardrum puncturing 808s Black Fortune utilizes a bellicose flow that simultaneously uplifts himself and firmly gives his position on women that are using him for his impending fame. Black Fortune is well on his way to stardom and seems poised to make the leap from underground notoriety to the mainstream in the next couple of years, and I am certainly ready to watch this ascenscion.
