It’s been only six days since Biv made his debut on our pages, yet he already seems poised to be a regular. His most recently released new track entitled “sent with love”, a self-produced, dreary offering that holds special meaning to the Mayville innovator.
What may be unknown to the average listener is the considerable depth of the story that lies beneath the literal lyrics. The track is written through the perspective of one of Biv’s close friends. They do, however, share a similar outlook on confidence and relationships: when girls find them interesting, they have trouble believing it. The friend was lucky enough to find a girl that he felt he could open up to, and she embraced and accepted every part of him.
It was the first time the friend had felt alive and comfortable after years of depression, so Biv convinced him to write a poem about the situation that he could translate into music. The instrumental was built from the emotions the NY native imagined his friend was experiencing, and the lyrics express what the friend is too afraid to say.
Biv is no ordinary artist. He is creating something extraordinarily special, and he’s doing it to help people find peace. Experience “sent with love” below, and stay watching our pages for more on the multitalented artist.
