Florida artist Billi Royce recently recruited fellow Floridian Ski Mask the Slump God for a new banger titled “Woke Up.” Billi slides effortlessly onto this tommy baker produced track and his vocals are always impressive to me with each listen. His booming autotuned hook is catchy and will likely be burrowed into the back of my mind all day, and Billi’s energy is matched by Ski Mask who delivers one of his trademark million-mile-per-hour features. Seventeen-year-old Royce stands firm next to The Slump God on this track and is at no point overshadowed. Billi is developing with each release and seems poised to have a very long career ahead of him.
