The Belaganas trio burst onto my radar earlier this year when I saw them linked under a tweet looking for artists to watch, and while I absolutely loathe artists being compared to others in write-ups, it is hard to ignore the Injury Reserve influence (or at the least similarities) sonically, so if you enjoyed IR’s early work, you will likely love Belaganas. I am really excited to watch them continue to hone their sound and develop artistically, but the bones of Belaganas are solid and from this visual, it is clear that their antics will be beloved by fans.
