Aries has finally dropped his 9-track, featureless debut album, Welcome Home and what a journey it has been for the buzzing pop sensation. Welcome Home is the culmination of his four previously released singles, as well as five new cuts, and the results truly speak for themselves. Most of Aries’ musical output has been fairly upbeat, thinking back to singles like Carousel and Sayonara, but “Welcome Home” opens up new angles to Aries’ artistry, with the heartbreak-track Pony and Home.

Aries has completely broken the mold, building a feverish fan base through his Youtube platform with his vlog-style approach to music making, allowing his fans to get the true behind-the-scenes look into his process and his life. Welcome Home was certainly highly anticipated, and Aries hit a home run. Aries brings the fan-favorite hits like “Racecar”, but shows off some of his artistic range with guitar-led tracks “Deity” and “Pony”. Aries starts to allude at some of his more vulnerable parts of his personality through the slower tracks on the album but keeps things lively and danceable with the remainder singles that fans simply can’t get enough of.

In coordination with the album drop, Aries decided that was not enough and dropped a visual for the album’s lead track, “Bad News”. Aries’ output has been virtually flawless up to this point and it looks like 2019 is going to be a huge year for the California producer and artist.

Check out the album and the visual below.
