Executive Producer: The dude who changed it all for me – The Gift.
Promotion Team & Crew: Treated Crew, all day. Shout out to Jugrnaut, too. CHVRCH Brand. Those are my peoples.
Briggie: Alright Millie, let’s get into it. If you were exiled to a deserted island and you could only take three albums with you (hip-hop or not) for the rest of your life or until you found a way to get off – what three would you take?
Millie: Alright. I’m taking Kanye West’s College Dropout, Jay-Z’s Reasonable Doubt, and Adele’s first album, 19. I could listen to to Ye when I’m building a fire, Jay when it’s time to turn up, and Adele when I’m crying and shit.
Briggie: That’s a pretty well rounded selection, you got something for all your emotions, ha! Ok so tell me this, the world is ending TODAY. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner – what is your last meal?
Millie: It would have to be chicken and waffles. With a side of pancakes. I need that in my life.
Briggie: Love some chicken and waffles. Answer me this. You’re about to leave the crib, what do you never leave home without…?
Millie: My backpack! I got everything I need in there – my whole life.
Briggie: Can I see what’s inside?
Millie: [Puts it all out on the table] I got my Mac and my charger – priority. My green and of course my deodorant and tooth brush – that’s essential for ya boy.
Briggie: HA! Ain’t nobody got time for bad breath. But, ok – Say your house is burning down because you left the stove on. What do you grab before it burns?
Millie: Well, damn. HA! My clothes. My shoes! My J’s. I can’t leave none of my stuff, man. My pillow too, probably.
Briggie: You’re right, you can’t be homeless without a pillow. Now, I know you got a wifey and she is probably about to be mad at me but the people want to know… if you could smash ONE industry chick, who would it be?
Millie: [No hesitation] Skylar Diggins.
Briggie: Alrighty then! So tell me, when is your next show?
Millie: June 6th at Lincoln Hall with Club Wiley, Showyousuck, Caleb James, Taylor Bennett, and JeanDeaux – you can buy tickets online.
Briggie: And I’m sure you hear it a lot but… when can we expect Glory?
Millie: It’s coming – sooner than later, G
