Blessed with the freshest flow in Atlanta’s Zone 6, Yung Mal is preparing for a massive 2020. Returning to the scene with a raucous new video, Mal shares “Dollar Signs.” Produced by Kappa, an ATL producer who’s worked with Gucci Mane and Lil GotIt, “Dollar Signs” finds Mal flexing a complex vocal patter atop arpeggiating keys, as he contemplates increasing his bottom line: “Dollar signs, dollar signs on my mind/Don’t got no love for the bitch, no heart/No, I’m not spending no valuable time.” In the video, Mal parties in his pristine apartment, rocking a tie-dye crew neck and holding mock funerals for his defeated enemies. Released right before the dawn of a new decade, “Dollar Signs” is the latest in a line of quality loose singles, including “Stashed In The Vent,” “Juggernaut,” also produced by Kappa, and “Started Actin’ Funny,” Mal’s bite-sized banger that inspired a video with appearances from BlocBoy JB and NLE Choppa.
