Dawning from West Philly, Leaf Ward is one of the most prominent independent artists in the city. Leaf Ward is apart of New Lane Entertainment, which is a growing sub-label headed by PnB Rock, and he is consistently applying pressure. His latest offering is titled “County Conversations” and the title certainly adheres to the track as it kicks off with Leaf’s good friend, Muji, who spits a verse over the phone whilst incarcerated. Leaf Ward is known for sharing relatable raps through the years as he is one of the original artists with authentic content in the game. Leaf has respect all around the city and his wordplay is not something to take for granted as he always comes with bars and passion.

The music video is shot by @tayyofficial_ as he demonstrates Leaf at nighttime lit up by streetlights and red lighting to feed into the energy of the track. Tayy does a great job of spotlighting Leaf and the emotion he radiates as he is mostly looking right into the camera and flowing. Leaf Ward should undeniably continue to grow his fanbase as his lyrics are certainly resonating with more cities than just Philadelphia.
