Junia-T recently called upon Chattanooga crooner Elijah Dax for a new track with a surplus of soul. Instrumentally, the track is perfectly simple, giving Dax a perfect blank canvas to warble over. His voice is old-school with a large amount of natural inflection that adds a sweet and fervent new level to his vocals. Dax also impressed me with his writing on this track, using both relatability and personal experience to grab not only his listener’s ear, but also tug on their heartstrings a tad.
