You might not have heard of The Kid LAROI., a fifteen-year-old rapper out of South Sydney, but you will hear all about him—and often—soon. Though he’s only released an EP and a couple singles up to this point, he’s generated sizable buzz, and rappers from Lil Skies to Juice WRLD are already among his supporters’ ranks.

Today, to commemorate the birthday of the young phenom, LAROI. has released a new track, and it’s his first in over a year. With such a long layoff, you’d expect it to be fire, and, awesomely, it’s exactly that. “WINNING” sounds current and energized, and it’s most certainly a precursor to what other heat he has in store.
