Ever since Travis Scott dropped “SICKO MODE” in late-2018, fans alike have always wondered what happened to the iconic Swae Lee excerpt in the song. Well this past week, we were treated to the official audio for Swae’s long-awaited effort, “Someone Said.” It’s produced by Shawn Ferrari and marks the first release of 2020 for the latter half of Rae Scremmurd. Today, Swae dropped the visuals and it’s full of references to old boy bands and commercials that aired years ago.

The 4-minute clip opens up to a grandma dozing off to the television before hearing a loud shout. From there, we see Swae Lee in a boy band called Swae Sync, an almost direct reference to the 1990’s boy band NSYNC. Throughout the video, he can be seen trying to advertise a spa service, sex hotline, and a magic towel that looks awfully similar to Billy Mays in an Oxiclean commercial. Furthermore, the remaining visuals are interesting and eye-grabbing nonetheless.

“Yeah, I cut you off like some scissors (Quicker) / Breaststroke, baby, I’m a good swimmer (Phelps),” he raps. Peep the fire video below and let us know your thoughts.
