"Sometimes you have preconceptions in life and right when you’re finalizing those thoughts, everything flips on its head and comes full circle."

Ahead of his debut album, Oranj Goodman is releasing the first promotional record, "Purple Glitter." The song contains a faith-focused message that is reflected in the video's religious imagery, interloped with kaleidoscopic vistas of organic matter.

"Growing up, religion was a big part of my life and it forced me to feel like someone I wasn’t. This song is about assessing how my Christian upbringing has made me feel because of my sexuality, and it's also me coming out to the world as queer," Oranj stated about the record. "In Native American tradition, you pay homage to the creator, the being that created you, and it's non-gender specific. This is what swayed me to my personal beliefs, that my creator is somebody who appreciates me for who I am, and I can show gratitude to them for letting me be a part of this world."
