After providing a launch pad for sensational artists like Atlanta rap wunderkind SwaVay, Metro Boomin has welcomed Compton native Topp to his Boominati Worldwide publishing imprint.
Recently breaking out following a substantial production credit with G Herbo and Lil Durk, Topp is switching gears and levitating from behind the scenes to ascend into his creative purpose.
In his initial release, under the direction of the multi-platinum producer, Topp delivers his hard-hitting trap-inspired single “Nonsense” featuring street-certified Dallas artist Bedo.
Energized by all of the artisanal trap elements and the menacing West Coast, Southern drawl juxtaposed lyricism of Topp and Bedo “Nonsense” is a straight-to-the-point banger igniting the push for Topp’s explosive debut artist-producer project.
“Nonsense” also allows Topp to immediately tap into the sophisticated infrastructure of producers embedded within the network of Metro Boomin’s creative sound community collective alongside his 808 MAFIA family in Tre Pounds and Tarentino — who collaborated with Topp on the composition of the record.
