Teaming up for this whimsical alternative-pop single is London artist Leo Bhanji and Southeast London artist Donalee. Together, they make a magical duo, and, reflecting on the track is this sparkling chemistry they have.

Says Bhanji about the track: “Heart of Gold is loosely written on my part, just a riff on ‘perfect’ being fake—’your shimmering discarded disguise’—and Donalee came with a similar vibe of sine and temptation and used the phrase ‘desires of the skin,’ so we both talked about layers of a person.”

Just nineteen years old, Bhanji is certainly making a good impression here, and, having a fascination with the internet (and musical output from the likes of Lou Reed and Frank Ocean), he certainly has the ingredients for a momentous year here.
