Lil Durk has finally dropped the highly anticipated visuals for What Happened To Virgil. The song features Gunna and is from his 7220 album was his first solo project to debut at #1 on the Billboard 200. When the project dropped on March 11, fans quickly turned the tribute to the late fashion pioneer, Virgil Abloh into a viral trend all over social media.
With Cole Bennett at the creative helm, you should already know that the work is top tier. The video begins with a quote from Virgil before quickly transitioning to Durk and Gunna rapping at various locations, and even in front of Drake's private plane that Abloh designed a couple of years back. All in all, it is a great tribute to a man who is responsible for paving the way for a new generation of creatives.
