It’s rare for me to get a unique old school music video with plenty of west coast vibes in my email submissions, but I was fortunate to receive one over the weekend in the form of “Black Codes” by Libretto. The setting provides the perfect visual backdrop for Libretto & Dcokah’s audio insights into Black life and Black thought. The visual is super clean and cinematic and reminds me alot of a late 80s-early 90s west coast gangster movie. See for yourself below.
