It’s hard to get beat when you’re working while everyone else is sleeping. For Brooklyn’s Kai Cash and Atlanta’s own Warhol.SS it’s all about the grind, and they feel there’s no time for breaks. “7am” is an anthem celebrating the grind, and they aren’t shy about all that they bring to the table.

Over a smooth guitar and thunderous drums, the duo’s take turns reflecting on all that got them to this point. They were stuck in the trenches chasing the bag, but now their money is long and they’re rocking Rolexes. Expensive trips and recognition from women are just the tips of the iceberg. “I can’t keep up my pace, time zone switch rotations” is a crazy flex, imagine traveling so much you can’t even keep up with yourself.

For Kai, this is his latest single since last year’s “Hunnits” with Tank God and “The West” featuring King Combs and 03 Greedo. Warhol’s still riding the momentum from 2018 project Chest Pains, but if this single is any indication then he might have something bigger and better in store.

Check out “7am” from these two young talents below.
