As April 7th draws nearer Joey Bada$$ is gearing up for the release of his latest album, All Amerikkkan Bada$$. His latest single featuring TDE’s own and father-of-the-year contender Schoolboy Q trading bars over a laid back beat. Joey is pulling no punches when he yells a triumphant “Fuck Donald Trump” mid-way through his first verse. Q to his credit isn’t shy with his rhymes either. With hard-hitting lines like “From getting lynched and filled in, to owning buidlings, getting millions, influencing white children and nigga we still aint even, still a small percentage of blacks that’s eating” Schoolboy makes his presence and stance felt throughout. As a critic and fan alike, I can’t wait to see what Joey drops next as his release date of April 7th draws closer.
