Injury Reserve has been one of the more unpredictable and eccentric rap outfits on the contemporary scene over the past few years. As the group has continued to evolve both personally and professionally their music has also made impressive progressions at each stage. The group is back on speakers today with their 13-track self-titled album. In typical Injury Reserve style, no two songs sound the same. Standout features from Rico Nasty, Aminé, and Freddie Gibbs lend some fiery bars to the collective cause. For their part, the Injury Reserve trio anchor the album with their signature dynamic deliveries and infectious energy.
