The Austin based artist sets forth on a newly enlightened path toward ascension.

We all know what it’s like to tussle with those feelings of self-doubt, uncertainty, & frustration. These things could stem from childhood or even adulthood–nevertheless, it can be a very rocky road to conquering each bout & coming out of the other side of it as a more refined individual. Austin based artist, Harry Edohoukwa, is a prime example of what it means to do so much internal spiritual work only to find that darkness still happens to follow him in any direction that he turns. Just last week, Edohoukwa released Pack One from his upcoming debut album Fire On The Mountain, which is set to drop on all streaming platforms as of December 11.

Each track takes you to the primal location of each emotional struggle mentioned above. “No Rule” is the opening track to the album, where Edohoukwa questions himself constantly over why he still can’t seem to find his light, despite of the progression he has already presently made. This track is heavy in a sense of really feeling what he is going through–confusion, exasperation & fragility all being key centerpoints of the album’s theme overall. “Road to Damascus” takes us on the lighter, more lyrical side of the album, speaking of coming to a point of understanding with himself. Why everything panned out the way it did & being introduced to your newly-found self at the end of it all is the point at which he resonates, a feeling that we know to be all too good. Edohoukwa’s angle of approach with this track really takes us inside what feels like to be ready for the next chapter after all of the questions you panicked for answers to, come to you with ease after the storm finally passes.
