Don’t miss Grizzy Roe’s latest.

It’s always impressive to see a rapper use a beat killed by a great and deliver just as good of a performance. Grizzy Roe, straight out of the Bronx, opted to try his hand at the illustrious trumpets held by the “Duppy Freestyle” beat that Drake aimed at Pusha T and Kanye West back in May. Only Roe decided to broaden his scope at any and everyone who wanted smoke in this new visual for “Revenge Muzik.”

The accompanying visual solidifies he’s not one to be taken lightly, flanked in his recording studio by a group of men who clearly had his back. The energy and passion in which he delivers bars, though, indicates the gritty rapper is more than capable of holding his own.

“If being swaggy is timely then half of you niggas is late” is just one of the many lines where his ego is put on full display. He questions the loyalty of women that men trust, as the same ones are in his DMs especially after the rapper cut down 100 pounds. Look how different he looks from the opening monologue to the duration of the video. Health and wealth, my brother.

Again, this beat is a tall task but the mark was hit. Saying he was comfortable in those sessions is an understatement. There was hunger here. He could’ve opened with a much longer speech but he got right to the rapping. Great energy and yet the visual was still quality enough to convey the entire message. Don’t sleep on Grizzy Roe.

Whatever is coming next for the Before The Money signee, it may be best to be on full alert. A name change for the Dominican born rapper formerly known as Grimez Rozay could be the start of a shift in the New York landscape. There is also word of an EP on the way. Check out the visual for “Revenge Muzik” in the meantime.
