Brevity is the name of the game nowadays. If you can only get two minutes of someone’s time, you better make sure it’s the most exciting two minutes they ever have whether listening on the radio or through their Air Pods. Norfolk, Virginia’s Caal Vo decided he’d only need just under a minute and a half to make his point clear in new “ATL Freestyle.”

The senseiATL produced track is true to his typical vocal arrangements, heavy on the autotune with a choppy flow that entices the ear. The 19-year-old repeats “who wants the smoke nigga, like a chimney?” in a cocky manner characteristic of someone who knows no one actually wants the smoke. The rest of the track is just hard flexing.

A short offering, but given the frequency he releases music it’s understandable. Just a week ago he released “Stars” and I wouldn’t be shocked if something else came tomorrow. Step into the young rapper’s world for just a minute, literally, and check out “ATL Freestyle.”
