Hailing from Ft. Myers Florida, BabyJake is the latest absurdly talented bubbling popstar from the same hotbed of creativity that birthed Dominic Fike. “Cigarettes on Patios” is an upbeat banger detailing the joys of partying with your friends and adolescent recklessness. Sonically, Jake delivers a magnetic chorus with his gruff and exciting vocals, while giving more subdued verses with detailed accounts of his miscreancy.

His verses are dotted with fun ad-libs, creating an almost conversational and intimate retelling of past nights. The soundscape is created by a soulful piano riff and subdued drums intertwined with a much more simple form of percussion with a snapping following each bar.
