These guys really fill their bell-bottoms

Highlighting the beauty of the historic architecture and landmarks of North Beach and the city at large, Analog Dog's debut music video takes the viewer on a journey back in time, to about three weeks ago when you could stand closer than six feet to one another. It also harkens back some fifty years to a ‘golden age’ San Francisco ripe for self-expression and making music in the streets. Featuring bell-bottoms, a melange of psychedelic colors, and of course an animated cat, the past meets the present as worlds collide in this far-out gem.

The song “Product Pivot” is itself another collage of meaning. A heartfelt jazzy love chorus pairs with grooving verses that tell the story of an individual grappling with the inequalities plaguing our city and nation, culminating in a rocking burst of energy for a finale. From the opening lyric ‘'Standing one foot either side of the fault line" to the last "I was sold the American Dream but it’s not what I bought" this video debut from Analog Dog packs a punch, and will strike a chord with all those who ponder how we got to and where we’re going in these strange times.
