If you have a thing for Afrobeats like I do, this one is definitely for you.

AdeJosh happens to be a brand new face when it comes to my catalog of music, and I’m so happy that he has been brought to my attention. Just about two weeks ago, AdeJosh released the official music video for his latest single “Reload It”. What immediately made the Nigerian/British songwriter & musician stand out is the fact that he takes the upbeat & melodic elements of Afrobeat culture while adding his own engaging style and approach to the genre itself.

The tune of this track is difficult to not dance or at least bop your head to, as it occupies pulsating arrangements of instrumentation. Taking creative keyboard components he learned as a child of the church, his sensibility in sound shines through on this track alone. While AdeJosh is progressively creating more of a name for himself across U.K.’s music scene, he’s received radio plays on Capital XtraBBC 1XTRA & REPREZENT Radio as well as over 10k+ in audio & video streams.

Directed by Jeaniq, we receive highlighted aspects of his fun & uplifting vibration, dancing and singing with a fellow laundromat worker. The rhythms and overall creative direction of the video makes me want to keep this on repeat without a doubt. “Reload It” is definitely set to change the game for AdeJosh as I can already sense his exponential growth is going to continue to skyrocket over the course of the rest of the year.
