Aaron Taos is on to something special, as the Brooklyn based indie upstart continues to make wave after wave, most recently with his video for “Control”. Aaron has found his voice as being the little voice in all of our heads, or diaries, as he channels the collective experiences we all face. Control hits topics of social anxiety and not fully being in control of how you feel.

The video centers around Aaron dressed in some sort of alien mask going about his day to day routine. I’m guessing there’s some deeper art school meaning about maybe you feel like an outsider even when you’re in your typical settings, but for now, I’m going to let Aaron do as he pleases as each of his last videos have all been finely directed for a purpose. Aaron continues to impress with his songwriting, both lyrically and musically, finding a sound that feels like if Arctic Monkeys spent a lot of time on the meme side of Instagram.

Check out the curious video below, and let me know if you have any deep art meanings to the alien head.
