Instagram is slowly but surely turning into an algorithm-filled wasteland and nobody is happy about it. A feed once filled with entertaining content & stunning views of your co-workers’ gross homemade lunches (don’t forget the unqualified #FoodPorn tags) has turned into an advertisement-dominated list of the most popular posts from the couple-hundred people you choose to follow.

Stand up for yourself and don’t let this unfavorable change in the ‘Gram schematics change your IG habits. To counteract all the bullshit constantly clogging up your feed, consider following these ten insanely talented illustrators to spice up your feed with some mind-blowing artwork.

Keep reading below to learn more about each artist and to check out some of their best works yet.

@somehoodlum

The Indiana-bred artist known as SomeHoodlum is by far our most popular pick on this list. His colorful (and often comical) takes on pop culture are some of the most sought-after pieces in the rap community. Additionally, Adam has teamed up with multiple brands and personalities over the years including Soulection & Brandon Wardell to create custom art for live appearances, radio shows & more. Check out his work below and cop something dope from the vast selection in SomeHoodlum’s online store.

@chrisbmurray

Philadelphia-based illustrator Chris Murray is the real deal. His works vary from exquisite abstract art to more vibrant, appealing commercial pieces. “Bedroom BadBoy” (below) depicts an armed, angsty teen in an unmatchable style that’ll undoubtedly have you clicking that blue follow button. While you’re at it, check out some of the prints he has for sale in his store.

@teodorxtzigov

Very Rare Breed has some wild creations that look like nothing else I’ve ever seen. His depiction of South Florida rapper Ski Mask The Slump God as Jason Voorhees (below) is just the start of his extensive collection. Be sure to peep his page for out another one of my favorites, the hypebeast Stormtrooper.

@muso4.20

Italy-based designer Marco Graziano makes some of the dopest cartoons on the planet. With a shape and feel similar to that of a Simpsons character, the depictions of mostly rappers are insanely on-point, from the facial expressions to the clothing details. These would look great on my walls.

@alutheartist

One of the awesome, yet frustrating things about Instagram is the difficulty to pass judgement on the artist from an objective point-of-view. Such is the case with Alu The Artist and many of the following), as I can find hardly any information about a number of the talented creatives. The core of Alu’s impressive collection features a series of cutout-like portrait images of your favorite rappers, but is also complimented with gems like the uzi-toting Goku, as seen below.

@drowsyboynightguy

On the real, this guys’ series of cartoon rapper faces are some of the most creative pieces I’ve come across on IG. Night Guy proves his worth by crafting hand-drawn pieces and graphic-based illustrations, doing both exceptionally well. Check out one of the aforementioned pieces below and be sure to scroll through his page for more visual gems.

@kingjediah

19 year-old King Jediah is putting on for Australia with his unreal “rapper artworks.” His cartoonish designs incorporate elaborate backdrops and intricate detail that is often left ignored. With a visible passion for the underground hip-hop scene, the youngin’ is bound to make a splash in the industry with these fantastic works.

@derblacksheep

Another young talent, 20 year-old Luke Lewin is cranking out some serious fire featuring all of your favorite rappers. His style is undeniably distinctive and has an enjoyably clean-cut vibe. Check out a magnificent collage of his works below.

@robopeezy

This dude can do it all. From black-and-white faces (below) to colorful portraits, @robopeezy has the illustration game on lock. Check out some of your favorite hip-hop icons in one of his dopest pieces below.

@eric_flacko

Eric Flacko is putting in work. After dropping some serious flame with the Nike watergun and a sick portrait of the 6 God, the young artist has been posting some trill hand-drawings and remarkable cartoon pieces. Peep one of my favorites below.
