Last night, Drake took the stage at Terminal 5 in Hells Kitchen during the annual Adult Swim Upfront Party and turned up the sold-out crowd with a series of his most notable hits. After performing a series of tracks from his recently released playlist More Life and a series of Drizzy classics, the 6 God himself brought out Atlanta buzz maker Playboi Carti to grace the stage.

Though I would’ve expected Carti to get lit with his current smash Magnolia, especially being that the show was in New York, he pulled a quick one by dropping his Lil Uzi Vert collab Woke Up Like This instead. Nonetheless, the surprise appearance is only confirmation that Playboi Carti is going to be massive. A co-sign from Drake is only gonna help the young emcee hit a wider audience and I can’t wait to see where the next few months take him.
